‘Free From’ Ep5… first thoughts….

Good evening all,
First of all I would like to say a big, heartfelt thank you for all the support, love and well wishes from each and every person whom have supported me during my 5 weeks in The Tent. Apologies for those whom may feel let down by my departure – I gave it my all and on the day it was sadly just not meant to be. Im absolutely distraught, but I can honestly say that during my time on GBBO, I always tried to push boundaries and never played it safe!
Unfortunately, after 5 weeks in The Tent my journey has now come to an end…someone had to go and it was the judges decision that this week it was my turn. However, the good news is that this do not mark the end of Ugne and is merely the beginning of another chapter! I have massive expectations of myself and filled with ambition …so Im here to stay and to catch some major dreams.
Please join me on Friday night for GBBO’s Extra Slice (9pm on BBC2) where you will hear a bit more from me as I discuss my time in The Tent with Jo and her panel. I will post my full review of this week following Extra slice, including a ‘rough sketch’ of my future plans/ambitions!

You were absolutely incredible and have been in every bake. Not let down at all. Just because you’re not in GBBO anymore, it doesn’t mean that you’re not getting anymore messages, you’re amazing and always will be. The world needs a baker like you, like the normal stuff is sooo boring, none of your bakes are. You will have a great career as a baker, you are determined and that is a quality to be proud of. xxx
